of 15 children born in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 39 years and was a loving father to Darrell (Deceased), Jon (Deceased), Laurie Molnar and his beloved Grandson Darrell Joseph “DJ”.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Gertrude Klimkiewicz (Mange) of Fremont Ohio, and 14 siblings: Catherine and Joe, John II, Rita and George Barwidi, Marcella, Ambrose (Klimkewicz) and Therese, Norbert (Klimer) and Cecilia, Richard and Dorothy, Germaine and Michael Polensek, MaryAnn(Meeker) and Thomas Schwegler, Edward, Josephine and Bernard Lipchinsky, Bernadine and Douglas Ayers, Francis and Sandra (Surviving), Louise.
Joseph has many nieces and nephews, family and friends that he cherished.
Joseph served in the United States Army from 1960-1965, is a graduate from Ohio University, and retired from a career at American Greetings. Joseph loved talking about the times with his father when they bred and raced homing pigeons. Their pigeons won many competitive trophies.Joseph had a passion for knowledge. He loved to read especially history and his almanac. He enjoyed traveling and spending summer weekends in Port Clinton.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on April 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Clarence Church, 30106 Lorain Road, North Olmstead, OH 44070. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, OH 44142, Lot 4, Sec 11, G1.
