Preceded in death were his parents and his loving wife, Dianne Harris Meyers. He is survived by his siblings, Catherine (John) Murray, Judith Dell, David Meyers, Rosemarie Bernosky and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following his graduation from McKinley High School, he entered the United States Army and served with honor. He became a Canton Policeman after his military service and then later worked as an appraiser. Upon retirement, he loved gardening and tended to his beautiful roses. He was a wonderful brother and friend to many who loved to play cards, tell stories and laugh a lot.
John will be memorialized on Saturday, April, 27,at 10:30a.m. at The Summit Church on Pittsburg Avenue in North Canton. A mass will also be held at The House of Loreto. Donations may be made in his memory to The House of Loreto. We cannot thank them enough for the loving care and comfort from the Sisters and staff provided him. It is a place of peace and comfort.
