John D. Rea
John D. Rea passed away peacefully March 10, 2018 after a sudden decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and close friends. John was born February 5, 1950 to Donald and Elaine (McGee) Rea.
John is preceded by brother Kenny Rea.
John is survived by six children; sons, James, Zachary (Skylene) and Shawn Rea; daughters, Joey (Steven) Cool, Amanda and Ashley Rea; grandchildren, Dustin, Amber and Devin Cool, Caroline Rea Petterson, Tessa and Sophia Rea; great-granddaughter, Nola Mae Brown (Holy Noly); siblings, Keith Rea, Judy Eggert, Marty Rea and Janet McAleese; lifelong friend, Timmy Hauk.
His family will be holding a celebration of life service on Sunday, April 15
th
, 2018 from 1-6:00 p.m. at the V.F.W. (in rear pavilion), 690 West Waterloo Rd., Akron, Ohio 44314. Condolences can be shared with the family at
