North Canton – JoAnn Schaefer passed away on April 4, 2023, in the Long-Term Acute Care at Aultman Specialty Hospital, surrounded by her husband Jack, and very special friends Rickie & Jim Irwin.
JoAnn was born in Lodi, Ohio to the late Larry & Myrtle Wiegle. She was a graduate of Wadsworth High School. While she worked numerous jobs in her lifetime, her favorite was working with her husband Jack, as an independent contractor for FedEx Custom Critical (formerly Roberts Express) for over 35 years. She had a great passion for traveling which made it a perfect fit for this job. She was a perfectionist in how she kept her home. She also loved the Holidays, along with cooking and entertaining with her friends.
Most of all she dedicated her life fully to her Husband, Jack, whom she married on June 25, 1986. She has resided with Jack in North Canton since 1990.
Along with JoAnn’s parents, she is preceded in death by her previous husband Kenneth Price in 1985.
Also, dear to her heart was the special friendship she had with the Irwin Family. Her memory lives on with Jim Irwin Sr., Rickie Irwin, Jim Irwin Jr., Jennifer (Rossetti) Irwin (Kayley Irwin, Trent Irwin), and Kelly (Irwin) Sweeney, Patrick Sweeney (Brody Sweeney).
