Joann (James) Dove

JoAnn (James) Dove, 85, fell asleep in death at home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Leon Bruce Dove; daughter, Sherri (Casteel) McVicker, and son-in-law, Richard Casteel.

JoAnn leaves children, Robert (Regina) Dove, Sandi (Robert) Anderson, Tami (Mark) Blake, and Susan (Robert) Greene; grandchildren, Vanessa Casteel, Bryon, Robert, and Diane Dove, Nathan and Seth Blake; and 7 great-grandchildren.  Because of her caring, generous, and fun-loving personality, JoAnn will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.  We look forward to seeing her again when Jehovah God restores Paradise to the earth and brings back to life those who have died.

Bruce and JoAnn were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1961 and were faithfully active with the Akron Southeast and East congregations. An online memorial service will begin with video at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  For login information, please call the family at 440-714-0322.
