Joan Catherine Lieb
Joan Catherine Lieb age 97, passed away June 4, 2020. Joan, one of eight children of John and Margaret Meyer, was born Nov. 19, 1922 in Fort Jennings, Ohio. Joan was a homemaker residing primarily in Wadsworth and Norton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, Carl, and six siblings
Joan is survived by her sister Elizabeth Meyer; sons, Brian (Catherine), Robert (Sylvia), Paul (Kathryn), James (Kimberly), Donald (Karen), daughter Carol Channell; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Joan was cared for by Brookdale of Bath and Brookdale Hospice during her gradual decline. Arrangements are being handled by Heritage Cremation Society. A private memorial will be held at a future time due to Covid-19 concerns. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family online at
