Joan A. Strobelt

Joan A. Strobelt of Louisville passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Richard Zupp and Lucile Zupp. She was a graduate of Mckinley High School. Joan was a member of First Lutheran Church of Canton. She was a volunteer librarian at Fairhope Elementary School for over 25 years. Joan will always be remembered for her love and commitment to her family and friends. Anyone who entered Joan’s house felt welcomed, loved and knew they had another place to call home.

Joan is survived by her children Jeff (Sandy), Keith and Kerri (Diane); 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Patty Zupp and Sharon Culbertson and brother, Clayton Zupp and numerous nieces and nephews.

In  addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Strobelt and daughter, Patti Jo Stocker, and brothers, Richard and Ralph Zupp.
