Jo Ann R. VanScyoc, 74 of Bolivar Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her 3 daughters on Thursday June 16, 2022. She was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Floran A. Neighbors and Marjorie F. Dietz.
She is survived by her children, Angie (Brad) Luyster of Wake Forest, North Carolina, Tracy (Scott) Rothacher of Sherrodsville and Bobbi Jo Gadfield of New Philadelphia; six grandchildren, Chase, Mason, Sydney, Paige, Kelsey, and Brenna; 3 great grandchildren, Morgan, Riley, and Juniper; brother, Gary Neighbors; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Blaine Biglow and sister, Finley Benner.
Jo Ann was a gentle, thoughtful, mother of four who was devoted to her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to laugh and found the humor in most situations, even to the end. Her selflessness was an inspiration to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
At Jo Ann’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice 2821 Woodlawn Ave NW Canton, Ohio 44708.
