Jill “Jillee” Renae (Miller-Seifert) Semonin
Jill “Jillee” Renae (Miller-Seifert) Semonin, age 53, Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family May 13, 2020.
Born July 27, 1966 to Thomas Miller and Nancy (Oien) Miller, she was a lifelong resident of Barberton, Ohio. Jillee was a cheerleader throughout her school years and participated in the vocational cosmetology program before becoming a 1984 graduate of Barberton High School. Subsequent education included: AAS in Electrical Engineering from ITT Tech (class of 2002), BA,MA,PHD in Metaphysical Sciences from University of Metaphysical Sciences (class of 2006), MA in Clinical Hypnotherapy and many continuing education certificates from Hypnosis Motivational Institute (class of 2006) and a BA in Psychology from Liberty University (2008). Jillee owned and operated several businesses throughout her many careers, including Wadsworth Hair Design, Permanent Beauty Inc., Alternative Arts Academy and most recently, The Mystic Zone Board Certified Holistic Practitioner and Hypnotherapist. She was the founder of The Ohio Paranormal Organization and served as a minister and notary public who performed many wedding ceremonies. She enjoyed art, music, teaching gymnastics, coaching cheer, bowling, softball, darts, billiards, karaoke, boating, water skiing and swimming in her pool with family and friends. With an outgoing personality and a mischievous sense of humor, Jillee loved to make people laugh. Our Jillee will truly be missed.
Jillee was preceded in death by her father Thomas Miller.
Jillee is survived by her husband, Timothy; children, Kaylie (Matt) Bonk, Karla Seifert, Kari (Phil) Piazza; stepchildren, Jillian and Connor Semonin; grandchildren, Landon, Collin and Carson Murrey, Madelyn Woods and Gracie Piazza; parents, Nancy (Roth) Swain; siblings, Kim London, Julie (Jerry) Lenox, R.J. Swain; six nieces and nephews; and father-in-law Thomas Semonin.
A celebration of Jillee’ s life will be held at a date to be announced at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Doylestown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 16 Eastern Rd Doylestown, Ohio 44230. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family online at
