Jesse Lee Dipaolo

On June 20, 2015, Jesse Lee passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 23.

He is survived by father, Bill; mother, Nancy; brother, Mike; sister, Chelsea; niece, Alexis; grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Jesse graced this world with his love and charm. He was an amazing person that everyone loved and adored. He never met a stranger and always had a kind word for everyone. Always seen with a contagious smile on his face with an enthusiastic greeting, he always found joy at the most simple of things. A loving, caring, kind free-spirit, Jesse always went out of his way to help others.

Jesse was a faithful servant to the Lord, a generous and charitable young man, always involved with outreach ministries and feeding the homeless–a true humanitarian! He never missed the annual Relay for Life to support cancer research, and always provided the entertainment through the night with his fun-loving, humorous nature and great prankster streak.

Family was the most important thing to him; he enjoyed and valued family traditions and spending time with his siblings and his 3 year old niece, Alexis, to whom he was deeply devoted. He was always warm hearted and protective of those he loved.

Jesse always gave of himself and everyone felt blessed to know and love him. He was truly a great man who shined his sweetness on everyone–a true ‘gentle’man.

We have lost an amazing son, awesome brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and grandson here on earth, but we have gained an angel watching over us until we meet again in heaven. We rest in Christ’s love and the promise of eternal life with Jesse.

A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 8 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jesse DiPaolo Benevolent Fund, to help with medical and funeral expenses, at any local FirstMerit Bank.
