Jerry Lynne Field (Nee Wilson)

Jerry Lynne Field (nee Wilson) passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at the age of 80.  She was born on September 9, 1940, in Akron, Ohio.  Jerry retired from J.C. Penny after 35 years.  She spent her retirement traveling to wherever her children were at the time, Tennessee, Florida, Canada and Europe.  When she wasn’t with her children or grandchildren you could find her at home helping or caring for her friends and neighbors.

Jerry was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Wilson of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Jerry is survived by her three children, Tracy (Bruce) Adamson of Morton, IL., Deborah (Mike) Icardi of Akron, OH., Donald (Anita) Field of Nolensville, TN.; grandchildren, Bryan (Evie) Dodd, Kelsey (Sandeep) Adamson, Austin (Kendra) Dodd, Elliott Adamson, Rayla Field, Breena Field; sister, Sandra (Bob) Lee of Ellet, OH.; and nieces & nephews.

Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery on Saturday, September 18 at 1:00. A tribute donation can be made in Jerry’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family online at
