James D. Morris “JD” age 74, passed away June 22, 2020.  JD enjoyed watching wrestling and game shows, playing cards, and going to the casino to play Rock-N-Roll Bingo.  He collected eagles and loved to learn about history.  He was also a volunteer for the American Lung Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius Morris and Esther Morris-Benjamin (Walter); siblings, Genieve, Bud, Jerome, Pat, Aloysius Jr, Mary, Betty, Joann, Bob, Bill, Judy, Rose and Caroline.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Skoczen); his children, Colleen (Tim) Adkins, Callie (Paul) Greenwood, Daniel, James Jr and Jennifer; many grandchildren; stepchildren, Pamela (Adam) Rosebrock and Harry (Katie) Carter Jr.  “Uncle Grandpa” to Sophia, Josie, Iris, Savannah and soon to be grandson, Kent.  Proud grandpa to his “grandpups” Vader (deceased), Fritz, Nabisco, Zuey and Charlie.

      I will truly miss my chats on Monday mornings at MGM well he waited to play Bingo. He always had a smile and made friends with everyone he met. I will miss him as will so many others.     My name is monica im a CA @ MC GREGOR PACE were Mr & Mrs Morris attended a few days out the week. When i first meet Mr Morris oh boy he was very polite. Always talk to us girls. Always complimented us on who good of a job we were doing always had little funny jokes. Just a all around great guy.
    My condolences to his family and to his wife Mrs Morris my Felicia (Insider) you are a strong lady an i know through God’s grace an mercy you will get through this

    JD even though I only met him a few times once at a polka event and several times with his wife my Bestie at Big Boys he treated me like we were friends for decades . He was always friendly to me liked to tell me stories of his past and make lots of jokes . He was one of the good guys .He always had a smile on his face when I seen him I was so sad to hear of his illness and passing . Bestie I’m so sorry for the loss of the love of ur life . I’m praying for u and am with u in spirit during this most difficult and sorrowful time of your life .
