Grace D. Stanko, 87, of Massillon, Ohio, died surrounded by family at Meadow Wind Nursing Home on Sunday, March 31st, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents: Ella Doney (Cook) and Dante Romeo DiCicco and siblings: Dan DiCicco and Elizabeth Palmer. She started a family and lived in New Jersey before returning to Ohio to become a valued clerical employee at Meadow Wind. She was also employed at Quest and Medical Professional Equipment. She dedicated her retirement to her family as well as working part-time at Strasburg Antique Mall. Her dependability was as apparent in her work as it was in her role as a mother, aunt and grandmother. Those closest to her remember most her dedication to her family and church, and her love for reading, the outdoors, and baking. She is survived by her children: Sue Zimmer and Matt Stanko, nieces: Deb (Dave) Karn, Cheryl (Terry) Bartz and Paula Rose, and her beloved grandchildren, Dustin and Karen Zimmer. The family asks that their privacy be respected at this time. Services are not open to the public.
