Gloria Armstrong
Gloria Armstrong (nee Cassler) age 82, died peacefully at her home in Bay Village, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Armstrong was born December 23, 1931, in Canton.
She was a 1949 graduate of Louisville High School and a past member of Paradise United Church of Christ. Gloria lived in Burton, Ohio for 26 years prior to her moving to Bay Village.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, The Rev. William H; her children, Lonson of Westlake, Elaine (Erick) Kasten of VA, Lester (Janell) of Cleveland and William Jr. (Erin) of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Hollestelle of VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Dorothy Cassler; and a sister, Jean Auld.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday November 29th at West Park United Church of Christ, 3909 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Contributions may be made to Child Sponsorship Program of The United Church of Christ, 700 Prospect Ave. East, Cleveland, OH 44115.
