Genevieve Antoinette Funk Zvosec

Genevieve Zvosec, 97, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021. Genevieve was born in

Bayonne, New Jersey

to Stanley and Tillie Funk and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Zvosec and her sister, Stella Michalcewicz; brothers, Joseph, Stanley, Frank and Edward Funk and son-in-law, Reed Lencse. Genevieve is survived by her sister, Helen Pramik, her two daughters, Linda (Jim) Peters and Dianne Lencse; son, Dennis (Ann) Zvosec.

Devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Genevieve lived a Catholic life of grace and instilled that in all she knew. She graduated

Barberton High School

, alumni of

Lorain County Community College

and a career in real estate. She was active in

St. Anthony of Padua Church

, Lorain, Ohio; President of the Marian Guild and other volunteer activities.

The family will hold Church, graveside services and celebration of life at a later date due to COVID restrictions.
