Gene Raymond Matako Sr
Gene Raymond Matako Sr of Louisville, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 7, 2022 after an extended illness. Gene was born in Massillon, Ohio to the late George and Jean Matako. After graduation from Jackson High School, he went to work at the Hoover Company for forty years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Matako.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosa (Straley) Matako; children, Gene Raymond (Debra) Matako Jr, Douglas Lee (Diane) Matako, Diana Lynne Matako Loboguerrero; brothers, George Matako and David Matako; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great -great grandchild.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
