Gary “Virgil” Eremich

Gary “Virgil” Eremich, 63, of Akron, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, while hospitalized.   Born February 21, 1959 to Nancy and Steve Eremich, he lived his entire life in the Akron area. Gary attended Manchester High School and started his company Eager Beaver Stump Removal shortly after, later working many years at Lockhart Construction.  He enjoyed motorcycles, hanging out with his friends, and spoiling his three little monsters– grandchildren Everett, Vivian and Garrett Middaugh.  Preceded in death by his son, Gary Eremich Jr. and nephew, Derek Robey.

He leaves behind his mother, Nancy Police; daughter, Sara (Allen) Middaugh; sisters, Donna Joseph, Rebecca (Ken) Carroll, and Linda Robey; brother, James Eremich;  niece, Dylan Joseph; nephews, Dallas Robey and Drew (Laura) Joseph; and mother of his children, Terry Brown.  A special thank you to life-long buds, John Glass, Gary Sayre, Nick Meszaros, Jeff Campbell, and Bobby Lockhart for your friendship all these years.

In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be an organ donor, with cremation taking place shortly after.   You can share memories or condolences at www.heritagecremationsociety.com.   Family will host a memorial gathering for friends February 2023, information to be announced at a future date.
