Gary Merton Brittain age 84 of Randolph, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 27
th
, 2022 after a long battle with COPD. He was Born December 16th, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate John Adams High School class of 1954 and Case Institute of Technology class of 1959. Gary was a Professional Electrical Engineer at Imperial Electric Company, Akron Ohio.
He liked his trains, bowling, Ham radio, apple pie making and being part of Jaycees, Indian Guides, All Male Chorus of Cleveland, church choir and other community and school groups.
Preceded in death by his son, James, and his parents, Merton and Kathryn.
Survived by his wife, Nancy (Keen); daughter, Laura (Dan) Yount of Randolph, Ohio; grandsons, Daniel Yount of Barnesville Ohio, Adam Yount of Randolph, Ohio; brothers, Jack (Eileen) Brittain of Gaithersburg, Maryland, Brian (Connie) Brittain of Broadview Heights, Ohio.
We would like to thank the staff at St Joseph Care Center, Louisville, for the superb care and kindness they showed Gary in his final days.
