Erzsebet Ratkay

Erzsebet Ratkay was the eldest of 12 children to lgnac Holczman and Esther Kertész. Born May 7, 1942 Passed away September 9, 2023 married to her beloved husband Zoltan V. Ratkay for 56 years. Treasured mother of Robert V. Ratkay and Claudia E. Ratkay. Loving grandmother to Jacob Z. Ratkay. She retired from the County of Cuyahoga. Erzsebet was born in Szentgál, Hungary which is close to the city of Veszprém. She escaped communist Hungary and arrived in the United States in 1973 with her husband. While in Hungary she was the speed typing champion of Hungary. She spoke three languages fluently. Her favorite hobby was gardening.
