Ellen “Janey” Young
Ellen “Janey” Young passed away peacefully February 22, 2016. She was born September 3, 1945 to the late Ralph and Mabel Wehr of Quaker City, Ohio. She was the proud owner of Janeys Country Cafe in Barberton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband Peter T. Young, her brother Jerry D. Wehr and beloved pets Buddy and Bubba.
She is survived by her sisters Carol Bailey and Judith Betts; children Kristin (Kenneth) Archer, Michael (Carrie) Young, and Deena (George) Anderson; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; caregiver Alan Vetter and many loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held for family and friends March 12, 2016 from 2-5 pm at the South Akron Orioles Nest 167, 2166 Manchester Rd Akron Ohio 44314. Condolences and special memories may be shared online at
