5 Tributes to Ellen “Elly” Patricia (Farren) Riggs

  1. Joyce Elaine Farren Cover says:

Our hearts are truly heavy at this sad time.. My sister Ellen “Petey” Farren Riggs suffered much this last year, but we all had time to spend with her to show her how much we loved her and shared a lot of family fun times and great memories. She was a very special hard working lady, a bit on the ornery side and she loved a good giggle. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, they were the loves of her life. She was watched over very well by her husband Rod.
She is now at peace with our Dad, Mom and brother Johnny. We will miss you Petey…. To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. We can take great comfort in knowing this. Till we see you again…. We love you. xxoo

  2. The Beerys says:

To Elly’s Family and Friends, Our deepest sympathies go out to you. May God, and the many good memories, sustain you; now and also in the future.. Our thoughts and prayers are for you and your families. Sincere condolences from Art Beerys, Smithville, Ohio

  3. Bill and Brenda Cover says:

We will surely miss our sister, she was a wonderful sister and friend. Us three girls had lots of laughter and little “sister fusses” over our life time. Petey, as we called her, had a heart of gold and would help most anyone. We will miss her more than we can say and will never forget the blessing she brought to our lives. Petey is saving a space on heaven’s bench for the rest of our family. Petey, we will always love you and you are in our hearts forever!????

  4. Bill and Brenda Cover says:

Our sister, Petey (Elly) left us with Rod holding her hand. She is happy and whole again in heaven. Us three girls had fun times and little “sister fusses” but we have had many laughs over them now. She was a wonderful sister and friend. She had a heart of gold, she would help anyone in need, if at all possible. She’s in heaven on the “Farren” bench, saving us a spot, until the rest of us get there. Petey has left a void in our hearts that can’t be filled. We will miss you, Petey and live you always!

  5. Shawn Young (formerly Corbin) says:
