Dorothy E Schmitt
Dorothy E. Schmitt, 89, passed away July 28, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Westlake, Ohio. Born in Smock, Pennsylvania to Paul and Mary Baluch. She resided in the Cleveland area all of her adult life. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and doing word puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence in 1994, she will be sadly missed by her children: Linda (Ron) Desnoyer, David (Coleen) Schmitt and Dale Schmitt; Grandsons Russell and Randy Desnoyer (Fiancee Laurie) and Daniel Schmitt; sister Joann Utlak; many nieces, nephews and friend who loved her.
The family appreciates the excellent care Dorothy received from Griswold Home Care, especially her longtime aide Mrs. Shelby Brown.
A funeral mass will take place at a future date. Please check the website and social media for time and place.
