Dennis “Denny” L. Jones
Dennis “Denny” L. Jones age 86 of Akron, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2021, with his wife, Linda by his side. He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 23, 1935, to the late Johney Clayton and Margaret (Casto) Jones. Denny served as a Petty Officer in the US Naval Reserve from June 1954-June 1962. He was a professional photographer all throughout his career and a 3

degree Master Mason. He was raised in Adoniram Lodge #517 on September 17, 1990 and transferred to Coventry Akron-Lodge #83 on December 1, 2016. He was an avid fisherman, golfer and hunter.
In addition to his parents Denny is preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Lewis.
Denny leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Linda R. (Walters) Jones; children, Nancy Thornton, Michael (Audrey) Jones and Denise (Jeff) Meier; 9 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Boyles and Sandra Smith; 9 nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Per Denny’s wishes, cremation will take place. Celebration of Life and Masonic Mass will be held sometime in the Spring of 2022.
