Deanna Kay (Carrington) Pringle

Deanna Kay (Carrington) Pringle, 75, passed away peacefully on June 9. 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born July 30, 1946 in Oak Hill – Beckley, WV, to the late Leslie and Rachel Carrington. She lived in Akron, Ohio most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church for many years. Deanna worked many part time jobs, however, devoted her time to raising her 2 children, Kathleen and Mary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald R. Pringle Jr., brothers, Glenn Carrington and James Carrington and sister, Leslie Kalil.

She is survived by children, Kathleen Cuffe and Mary (Mark) Apicella, John (Susan) Cuffe who was like a son to her; grandchildren, Stephanie and Gerald Cuffe, and Sal and Deanna Apicella, and sister-in-law, Janie Pringle.

Deanna had a heart of gold and would not let anyone go without anything that they needed. She put their needs before her own. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Gerald, they were married for 55 years.

Deanna has requested no services to be held. The family wishes to thank the staff at western reserve hospital for the wonderful care they gave her.
