David M. Thomas

David M. Thomas of Akron, passed away peacefully at his home on July 14, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73.  He was born April 13, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of late Betty Thomas and Robert Thomas.  He was married to the late Pat Thomas for 53 years.

He is survived by brother Ron (Janet) Thomas, sons David (Jessica), Robert (Kathleen) Thomas, daughter Lisa (Jim) Crady, brother-in-law, John (Phyllis) Belcher, sister-in-law Linda Belcher, 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother-in-law Lloyd Belcher and son Mark Thomas.

A service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, August 13 at 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tallmadge.  848 Southeast Avenue in Tallmadge.
