David Hiley passed away April 3

, 1949 to James and Dorothy Hiley at Barberton Hospital. David graduated from Norton High School and enlisted in the Marines shortly after marrying Kathy (Daiger). He served his country honorably in various roles during the Vietnam war from 1968-1972. After retiring from the Marine Corps, David still served in the National Guard Reserves until 1980. David received training in aviation electronics while in the Marine Corps and earned a certificate from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics. His hobbies as a younger man included electronics, martial arts, weight lifting, and guitar playing. His first wife passed away and David remarried Margaret Mary (Hruschak-Williamson) in 1980 who he has loved faithfully for over 41 years. David had an active faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Community Vineyard Church. He was known to have a generous nature and an amazing smile.

He is survived by his wife Margaret; brother, Mike; sister, Peggy Hite; sons, Derek (Sarah), Gabriel (Angelica), and Josh (Ali); daughters, Marvella and Shauna Williamson;  grandchildren, Samantha, Sharon, Cameron, Alex, Amelia, Katie, Brandon Williamson, and Kalyssa Williamson.

There will be a memorial service (with food afterwards) on April 26

, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Community Vineyard Church on 2543 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls.  A Military Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1:15 p.m. on April 28

th

, 2022 at the Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road in Seville, OH . For those who wish, donations may be made in David’s memory to
