David C. Dougherty

David C. Dougherty, 50, passed away on March 1st 2023. He was born December 29th 1972 in Columbus Ohio, later he became a resident of Cuyahoga Falls where he lived most of his life.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Dougherty.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Dougherty; son, Gage Dougherty; daughter, Brooke Frowen (Dougherty); granddaughter Avery, Frowen; father, Thomas Dougherty; sisters, Erin Fountain (Dougherty) and Rachel Hubbard (Dougherty); and many nieces and nephews.

David was an active member of the ELKS Lodge 1923  in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for several years. He enjoyed many things in life including music, fishing, football, and spending time with family and friends. He has been a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan all his life and has passed his love along to his wife, children and grandchild. David was proud of his work in the cable industry, working as a project manager at Broadband Express and Kanaan Communications for many years.

David’s family would like to thank the staff at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center for their excellent care and compassion. The family would also like to say a special thank you to the oncology department at Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center, most specifically to Dr. Daniel Silbiger and staff for providing the highest level of care and going above and beyond for David.

For family and friends who would like to celebrate David’s life there will be a service located at Faith Bible Fellowship in Tallmadge at 1 pm on March 25th. Following the service family and friends are welcome to come together and raise a glass in his honor at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, 2244 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221.
