David “Dave” Hancock

David “Dave” Hancock age 74, of Canton, Ohio passed away February 19, 2021. Dave was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He was an avid gardener and sports fan (go Packers!), who loved to golf and spend time at the lake.  Most people who knew Dave would say that his sense of humor was best quality.  He was the master of the dad joke before the dad joke was a “thing”. He will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hancock; siblings, Charles Hancock, Cynthia (Wayne) McFadden, John (Leann) Christen, Jim (Barb) Hancock; his three children, Sember (Dave) Newell, Amanda Hancock, Jason Hancock; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hancock and his ex-wife, Susan Hooper.
