Darren Eugene Polston sadly transitioned on January 28, 2021. He was born December 08, 1975 to Cheryl Ann Brantley-Hodge and Lance Eugene Polston of Columbus, Ohio. He accepted Christ and was baptized at a young age, becoming one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had his own personal relationship with the Lord. Darren was full of love, life, and laughter.  He love to play video games, watch nature shows, cook, BBQ, and most importantly loved music. In 1995, Darren attended and graduated from Beaufort High School in South Carolina.

Darren is survived by his Mother and Father, two sons and a host of relatives and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Heritage Cremation Society has been entrusted with his care.

      Darren and I met on our first day at Chase. Our group of new hires quickly felt more like family than co-workers. I will always remember Darren’s kind heart and infectious smile and laughter. Prayers and sympathy for Darren’s loved ones. He will be greatly missed!

    I had the pleasure of managing Darren for a short while at VZW. After teams changed Darren and I maintained our friendship. We loved talking about games, nerd stuff and he often interacted on my weekly podcast.

    Darren was a very kind and good person, he will be missed.

        Darren this is your Aunt Reather, I am soooo happy that you and I had a chance to talk to each other a few months ago, I treasure having heard your sweet voice after a long time of not talking to you.       I didn’t know Darren for a long period of time but when I got the opportunity to meet him we instantly clicked. He always showed a great passion for my photography and it was never a dull conversation with him. He will be truly missed

    My Peaches and her baby boy, Darren. As Cheryl’s best friend from childhood, I remember that beautiful precious baby when he was born. I used to go to Cheryl’s house and enjoy just watching her care for him. A wonderful mother.
    And he turned out to be a cherished and very handsome man. And I see so much of Cheryl in his face. Death is not a period…… It is a comma. Will see you soon Darren.

      Darren….You will truly be miss in so many ways. I wanna thank you for your friendship and the good times we have experienced together. Everyone knows Darren the cook and music maker, but very few know him as the 4 wheeler rider like I do, Mann do I miss those times.
