Dearest wife of Ralph Hatfield; beloved daughter of the late Joan and Albert Blumenstock; beloved step-daughter of the late Helen Blumenstock. Darlene was the loving mother of two and step-mother of Timmy Hatfield, Tammie Paquet and Melanie Arthur; sister of the late beloved Albert Blumenstock, Don Blumenstock, Allison Blumenstock, Mike Blumenstock and Corey Blumenstock; grandmother of 13; great-grandmother of 1; aunt of 12; great-aunt of 13; fiance of Jeff Griffith.

Darlene was born in Hoboken, New Jersey and moved to Ohio when she was a young adult. Darlene loved her family and was always there in a time of need. She loved being surrounded by her family and having fun. Her hobbies were her flower beds, puzzles and yelling. Everyone always knew when she was around. She could always be heard in a crowd.  She was very stubborn when it came to things going her way. She loved having all her nieces and nephews around her.
