Darfus Ransom
Darfus “Randy” Buddy” Ransom age 94 passed suddenly Saturday, May 2, 2015 at his residence in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
He was born the son of the late Waymon and Annis Ransom in Cleveland, Ohio. The former husband of Mary B. Clark and the late Willa Mae; father of Michelle Clark; step-father of
Audrie Johnson and Sonia Clark; grandfather of Damien and Miles Clark and brother of the late Louise Lloyd,Corinne Williamson, Mattie “Cindy” Berry and Willie Bee Crosby. He also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graduate
of Wilberforce University, Darfus was one of the first African American Inspectors for the Cuyahoga County Building Department and was an accomplished and expert Carpenter and professional Craftsman completing numerous remodeling and construction projects across the greater Cleveland area.
A memorial service was will be held at a later date.
