Dale Leslie Miller

Dale Leslie Miller of Massillon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 21st at the blessed age of 80. Dale was born on November 13, 1941 to Wilbur and Elizabeth (Betty) Miller. He proudly served in the US Air Force, was a member of the Massillon American Legion Post 221, “2002” Ohio Grande Chef de Gare of the 40 et 8 and was recently honored with a 50-year membership in the 40 et 8. Besides serving in many leadership and volunteer roles in various veterans’ organizations, he. also, enjoyed visiting family and friends, and traveling to many interesting places around our country,  He is survived by his wife Rosanne, two daughters; Natalie (Bill) Winebaugh of Dixon, Illinois and Heather (Joe) Johnson of Clarksburg, Maryland, three step-sons; John (Miko) Self of McKinney, Texas, Chris (Dana) Self of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Jimmy (Janet) Westland of Caledonia, Minnesota. He is, also, survived by his sister Jacquie (Jim) Skelly of Wadsworth, Ohio. There are 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and step-great grandchildren. He loved and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

Graveside services will take place on November 10th, 2022 (2:30 PM) at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery of Rittman. A Celebration of Life is planned for November 12th, 2022 from 1:00-4:00, with a memorial service to start at 2:30pm at the Massillon American Legion Post 221 at 427 Lincoln Way East. .
