Clifton “Cliff” L. Bishop
Clifton “Cliff” L. Bishop 72, of Canton passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in his home.
He was born October 14th, 1948 in Clendenin, WV to Robert Bishop and Betty (Jett) Dunlap.
Cliff attended Perry high school, class of 1966. Retired as a truck driver with JMW and continued to pursue his dream of being a famous artist. Cliff will be remembered as a gentleman who lived his life with great passion for people and art. Strong willed and hardworking, always made friends everywhere he went. He found beauty in everything, even the grayest of days and could find it in one of his paintings. He often would be gardening if he wasn’t painting or shooting the breeze with someone.
He is survived by his daughter, Felicia (Richard) Dinger of Massillon, Ohio; son, Clifton P. (Deserea Bland) Bishop; son, Josh (Samantha) Bishop; grandchildren, Justin Barnett, Ricky Dinger, Jasmine Bishop, Tyson Dinger, Hayden Bishop, Payton Bishop, Winston Bishop; sister, Violet May (Don) Dahl; brother, Charles William Bishop; nephews, Robert Large, Joe Large, William Large.
