Claudia Ann (Pound) Darrah

Claudia Ann (Pound) Darrah passed away on January 18, 2021 from Alzheimer’s disease while a resident of The Colony Healthcare Center, Tallmadge, OH. She loved tending her flower gardens, doing needle point, crafting, scrapbooking, and card making. She loved collecting shells on Sanibel Island and Gasparilla Island. Her motto was whoever dies with the most shells wins. And she won! She loved riding on the back of Patrick’s motorcycle. Her favorite job was that of being a mom and grandma.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Patrick of Greentown, OH; children, Katherine Marie (Jason Griffith) Darrah of Plain Township, OH and Nicholas Salome Darrah of Willoughby, OH; grandson, Samuel Darrah of Plain Township; brothers, Thomas (Sue) Pound of Sarasota FL, Mark Pound of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and John Pound of North Canton, OH; and many nephews and nieces.

Claudia was preceded in death by her mother, Maryann (Thomas) Pound and father, Claude Pound.
