Christopher Allen Flickinger Sr.

On February 8, 2020 Christopher Allen Flickinger Sr. passed away from a sudden illness at the age of 51, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on April 10, 1968. Growing up Chris loved working on cars as well as racing them. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. He was known to help anyone and everyone. On July 22, 1989, he married the love of his life and had four amazing children. In 2011, Chris became a first time grandfather.

Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Sherry Marie (Dryden); parents, Elmer Jr. and Georgia (Sunderman); children, Christopher Allen Jr.(Victoria), Amanda Lynn, Anthony James, and Jason Eric; seven grandchildren, Keely Rae, Rylee Nykole, Harmony Lee’Ann, Miracle Raelynn, Hannah Nicole, Travis Jordan, and Skyla Jade; siblings, Jeff (Sunderman), Kathy Flickinger, Danny (Peggy) Flickinger, and Ivy Bell; seven nieces and nephews, five great nieces and nephews, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In honor of Chris, there will be a memorial service held on February 29th, 2020 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m, at the Diamond Community Center located at 2782 Diamond Street NE., Canton, Ohio 44721.

In lieu of flowers, we would welcome a covered dish and any stories of Chris to reminisce about.
