Charles McCarty

Charles Wilbur McCarty 75 of Louisville passed away peacefully at home with his family by  his side on June 4, 2023. Born April 13, 1948 to the late Eline and Maynard McCarty. Chuck was a veteran of the United States Army and received The Army Commendation Medal for his service in Vietnam. Chuck was a lifelong owner operator and loved driving truck. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and BBQs.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Robin McCarty and brother, Doug McCarty.

Chuck leaves behind his daughter, Michelle McCarty of Minerva; two sons, Steve (Jenny) McCarty of FL., John Miller of Louisville; five granddaughters, Mackenzie, Gracie, Ryleigh, Payten and Callie; 2 great-grandchildren, Lily and Aurora; Todd (Tammy) Marion of Louisville, who was like a son to Chuck; two sisters, Patricia (Larry) Feller, Norma O’Donahue; brother, Laynard “Bub” McCarty; and several nieces and nephews.
