Carrie M. Williams, (Nee-Thomas)
Carrie M. Williams, (nee-Thomas), 87 passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born in 1934 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Abraham and Ida Mae Jordan.
Carrie was a member of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a church pianist and was a Blue Bird Den Mother. She worked in the neo-natal unit with newborn babies and later became an electronic inspector, before becoming disabled.
She married Marshall Williams and they had three children, Marshall Williams Jr., the late Carolyn M. Harvey, and Benita Mosely. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Carrie was loved by many and was a true believer in Christ. May she rest at the feet of our Lord, singing Glory, Glory, Glory Lord God Almighty. He who was, is and will always be.
