Carl Chiarenza

Carl Chiarenza age 72, passed away January 13, 2021. He was born December 8, 1948 to the late Joseph and Gloria (Scott) Chiarenza. Carl loved everything about food: growing, hunting, and cooking it. Like the Italian he was, Carl wanted to provide the most food everywhere he went. Carl loved motorcycles in his earlier years as well as being on the water, boating, skiing, fishing, camping. We remember him for his love of music and singing as well. As those physical activities subsided- driving around the country and vacationing with Lois and their dog, Sugar, became the norm. Carl was a proud Navy Veteran who loved his Country, God, and firearm collection. Often times making Lois wear it proudly to display. He couldn’t resist a good sale, either garage or auction.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Battles.

Carl is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lois Chiarenza; David Chiarenza of Washington DC, Carrie Chiarenza of Virginia Beach and Heather Gemmell of Fredericksburg, VA.; and his furry companion, Sugar.
