Bruce R. Harris

Surrounded by his loved ones Bruce R. Harris, age 78, passed away on May 30th, 2023 after a 3 ½ years-long battle with kidney disease and other health complications. He was born on May 20th, 1945 to the late Roy and Helen Harris in Garfield Heights, Ohio.   Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Suzanne (Nee, Gruden).  Loving father of Shawn (Araceli), Chris (Katie); Kelly Gaines, and Scott (Kate) Gaines. Proud grandfather of Mariela, Antonio, and Lily Harris; Megan, Cora, and Hazel Gaines. Loving cousin of Michael Wolf, Jan Gold, and Kathy Fazio. Bruce worked in the trucking industry for 37 years and retired from Yellow Freight in 2007 after 29 years of employment. He lived in Doylestown, Ohio for the last 23 years of his life with his wife Sue.  Cremation has taken place and a private burial will follow.
