Bobbie (Bob) Katzenmeyer
Bobbie (Bob) Katzenmeyer (85) of Mogadore went to be with the Lord May 12
th
, 2021. He passed away at home with family at his side after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Bob lived his entire life in the Akron area and was a graduate of Suffield High School. He was a proud member of the USW Local 2L, and he retired from Goodyear after 25 years. He also volunteered for the Mogadore Fire Dept and Akron Children’s Hospital Doggie Brigade. Bob was a friend of Dr. Bob for 45 years. As a jack of all trades, he could do just about anything; one of his favorite hobbies was to make and rebuild clocks.
Bob is survived by Diana, his loving wife; best friend of 31 years; children, Scott (Annette) Katzenmeyer of Suffield, Annette (Scott) Jacobs of Port Charlotte, FL, Tammy Johnson of Christiansburg, VA, Jennifer (Chris) Cain of Lakemore, and Clay Wetzel of Akron; grandchildren Stephen (Trisha), Robbie (Erin), Jonathan (Andi), Kayleigh, Alissa, Bobbilyn, Layla, and Emma; and great-grandchildren, Khloe, Logann, and Olivia.
Memorial Service will be held Sunday May 23

at the Springfield Assembly of God: 1551 Canton Rd at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in Bob’s name to the Humane Society of Summit County: 7996 Darrow Rd Suite 30, Twinsburg, OH 44087 or summithumane.org.
