Betty Joan Smith (nee Misurda), age 93, passed away December 14, 2020 at home in Parma from natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary, and her siblings, Mo and Janey. . In retirement, she was an avid reader and a puzzle master. For the past few years, she quite enjoyed the company of Bruce, a dog. She said that having him was like having a little boy around the house. No wonder considering the mainly daughter-drama she experienced with her children: Sharon, Cherie, Gar (deceased), Peggy, Kathy and Beth. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one on the way. A private post-Covid service and family gathering will be held.
