Betty J. Ammiller, 97, passed away April 29, 2018 at

Hospice of Medina County

. Born in New Philadelphia, Ohio to George and Ethel (Goettge) Davis, she was a longtime Cleveland area resident and retired from Universal Cyclops Steel. Betty very much enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by husband, Robert “Bob”, she will be sadly missed by daughters, Sandra Ammiller, Sue (Paul) Prestak; granddaughters, Jessica (Bryan), Amanda (Ron); great grandchildren, Connor, Cael, Tessa, Elle; sister, Dana Davis Mears.

A memorial ceremony will take place on

May 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridge Road United Church of Christ

6050 Ridge Road, Parma, Ohio 44129

with Pastor Judith Campbell officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Betty’s name to

.  Burial of urn at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia with her husband at a later date.
