Barbara Kimbrough

Barbara Kimbrough got her wings on August 22, 2020 at the age of 72. She was born on January 22, 1942 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Florence Pippins.  She moved to the Akron area in the 1960’s and was later married to Charles Kimbrough. She was employed by Uniwear and Cintas for 20 y ears, which she retired from. Barbara was an avid online gamer and shopper. She also enjoyed sewing and listening to her favorite musical artist Keith Sweat.

Barbara is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Pippins, sisters, Laura Sanders and Shirley McGraw.

Barbara leaves to forever cherish her memory and carry on her legacy; niece, Theresa (Kenneth) Taylor; great nieces, Shyanne (Gerard) Stromberg and Shaniece (Dontee)Sessoms; great-great nieces, Marianna and Belle Taylor; great-great nephews, Aiden, Taylor, D’Andre, Paris, Jr., Miles and Malik; Godmother, Berniece Sigler; best friend Gloria Thomas and a host of other friends who were like family.
