Barbara Anne Schwin (nee: Eckerfield), age 86, was born to Leo & Stephania Eckerfield on August 29, 1936 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on September 19, 2022 in Cincinnati, OH. Under the care of Hospice of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward; sons Michael and Lawrence; and daughter Katheryn.
Loving mother of David, Laura (Suzanne Delugo), Stephen (Angela), Paul, Jean (Ronald) Sullivan, and daughter-in-law Virginia Kungl. Dearest grandmother of Barbara Wisdom, Robert, Joseph, Julia, Mathew, Justin, Joshua, Jessica and Matthew; and her great-grandchildren Caleb Norwood and beloved Charlie Wisdom. Dear sister of four and aunt of many nieces & nephews; and her sweetheart dog Fritz.
Barbara retired as a Unit Clerk after 25 years from Southwest Hospital and spent her many years of retirement raising and caring for her family.
She will be buried alongside her husband at Woodvale Cemetery, 7535 Engle Rd. Middleburg Hts., OH 44130 with a Committal Service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s name to Hospice of Cincinnati.
