Anita Jean Ecenbarger

Anita Jean Ecenbarger, a.k.a. puppy thumper, 55, passed away Sunday May 14th, 2023, from a long battle with cancer. Anita was born to James Ecenbarger (Sue Smith) and Susan (late David) Boerner, in Massillon, Ohio. Anita is a 1985 graduate from Tuslaw High School and RG drag where she received her nurse’s aid certificate. Anita was survived by her 2 children Amanda Kiko and Andrew Kiko. Her 4 grandchildren Gage, Kolton, Braxton Bernhart, and Bennett Kiko. 3 sisters Emily (Brock) Lauvray, Denise (Bill) Clark, Teresa (Rob) Gross. Also, survived by 5 nieces, 1 nephew and 7 great nephews. Anita loved to spend time with her friends and family. She loved to fish, cook, going to the movies. Anita was also a strong-willed, hardworking individual. She was also on a pool league and bowling league from 1994-1996, then began driving truck. In 1999, Anita started a business with her partner, Mike Kiko. She also loved spending time with her animals dog, Sammy and cat, Mr. Kitty. There will be a graveside service on Saturday May 27th 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grandview Union Cemetery located at 500 N. Bodmer Ave. Strasburg, Ohio 44680. Following will be a celebration of life gathering at the Lauvray’s house 8050 Central Rd NW Strasburg Ohio 44680.
