David L. Petty

David L. Petty, age 80, passed away on December 12, 2018. He was born on June 8, 1938 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Robert and Esta (Wagner) Petty. He had a long career in sales and retired from Clem Lumber Distributing Company. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish and work in his yard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia (Organ) Petty; daughter, Jennifer (David) Plentovich; son, Robert C. Petty; grandchildren, Nicholas Plentovich, Max Plentovich and Jordyn Iammarino-Petty; sister, Carolyn Berton and brother, William Petty.

Funeral services for David will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dueber United Methodist Church, 645 Dueber Ave. SW, Canton, Ohio 44706. Dinner to follow. Condolences can be shared with the family online at https://www.heritagecremationsociety.com/.
