William “Art” Arthur Gambs
William “Art” Arthur Gambs 65, of Uhrichsville, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2019. He was a retired senior lineman for Verizon, formally GTE. Art was an adventurer in his youth; he was a competitive motocross racer, he enjoyed hang gliding, riding his motorcycle and working in his garage.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Holly Gambs; daughters, Tricia (Albert) McNutt and Natasha (Matthew) McGraw; three grandchildren; Jaxson McNutt, Alea McGraw and Stella McGraw; sister, Gloria Boles and brothers, John and Blaine Gambs.
A service Celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, November 20th, from 3-4 pm at LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia. Condolences can be shared with the family online at https://www.heritagecremationsociety.com/.
