Virginia Bell McCracken
Virginia Bell McCracken died Friday, December 9, 2016 from congestive heart failure. She was 90. Born in Steger, Illinois on August, 24, 1926, she lived her life in the Akron, Ohio area and in Lakeland and Ormond Beach Florida.
Virginia was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl (Robert) Merz.
She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Jackie) Royer and Ernie (Beverly) Meyers; daughters, Sandra (Michael) Connolly and Geneva (Dennis) Henderson; sister, Marion Banks; brother, Dennis Currey; 11 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. We will all miss her.
Our mother loved her work in the restaurant business. She also loved to dance, attend family picnics, and tend to her flowers. Her favorite hobbies were fishing, sewing and knitting.
Cremation has taken place and her cremains reside, forever in peace, at Hillside Memorial Park in Ellet, Ohio. Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family at
