Thomas Hooser

Thomas Hooser passed away January 16th, 2016, after a long battle with liver cancer at the Hospice of Medina County, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 8th 1945 to Alice and Herbert Hooser, both whom preceded him in death. Tom had a great love for fishing, hunting and camping. He loved the outdoors and would spend a lot of time just out walking and admiring nature. He also loved and adored his wife Bonnie to whom he was married to for 48 years. The second love of his life was his companion, his little dog Gizmo. Thomas was a lifetime member of the Orrville Sportsman’s Club. Many years he spent as “Trainor Tom” with the Pee Wee football team the Redskins in Wadsworth. Tom made his living as an over the road truck driver from which he retired.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents Alice (Newman) Hooser and Herbert Hooser both of Wadsworth. brother Daryl Hooser, sister Sandra Wilson of Rittman, and nephew Larry “Buddy” Craddock.

Surviving him is wife Bonnie (Blough) Hooser of Rittman, his son Troy Hooser of Rittman, daughter Tracie (Roger) Bowes both of Rittman, Christopher (Vickie) Hooser also of Rittman, his sisters Barb Brogan and Debbie Craddock of Wadsworth and brother Herbert (Pam) Hooser also of Wadsworth, 13 grandchildren Lindsey, Cody, Dylan, Hannah, Brooke, Hunter, Dane, Tyler, Kailee, Rebecca, Max, Brandon, and Makenna and 2 great- grandchildren Mayson and Luke.

The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life meal at the Orrville Sportsman Club on January 30th, at 2:00 pm. The address is 18473 Shifferly Rd, North Lawrence Ohio, 44666. Please join us to celebrate his beautiful life.
