Ricky Charles Lambes Sr.

Ricky Charles Lambes Sr. passed away peacefully Monday, October 28th at 11:05 pm from complications following a stroke and lung cancer.

He is preceded in death by parents, Alfred Lambes Sr. and Betty Jackson; and brothers, Ed Lambes (Joanne) and Jeff Dudley.

He is survived by brothers, Al Lambes and Tim Lambes (Sheryl); sisters, Glenna Gordon and Marcy Grecni (Steve); children, Tina Pastorius (Jake) and Ricky Lambes Jr.; grandchildren, James (Jasmine) Marc and Jacob; great-grandchildren, Mikey and Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews and family that he loved and will miss him.

The highlight of many family get togethers would be when Ricky, his brothers and dad would pick up their guitars and play some old country along with some southern rock (Rick’s favorite). Ricky loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was Grandpa Rick to all the kids, not just his own. One thing that the family will miss about him, is that if he liked you, he picked on you. Ricky was a simple man, who said he didn’t want tears when he passed and didn’t want a funeral. He wants us to have a celebration of life party. He loved cookouts, so to celebrate his life, a cookout will be held in the spring to be announced later. If you don’t want to or can’t donate towards his final arrangements, the family asks that you donate a toy or money to the children’s charities for Christmas in his name.
